The M83 were made in 2001 in the Antibes of France from the Antony Gkonzales and Nikolas Fromazo.But "Before The Dawn Heals Us", find the Antony Gkonzales alone in the flight deck of group afterwards the retirement of his fellow. Absolutely atmospheric album with sound based in synthesizers, ambitious, breathtaking, tuneful!The 15 tracks, that they combine with admirer balance the instrumental disposal of their author and the use of vocals, they are proportionally imported with the Moonchild, a foggy piece that immediately from beginning shows the cinematographic sense that Gonzalez wants give in this undertaking ..Listen to "Farewell/Goodbye" (with the Ben from their Cyann and Ben and the Lisa Papineau from their Big Sir in vocals) that is the most weepy, honeyed song that we heard the last years from electronica disk, a piece that Air I do not believe they write. Or the "Teen Angst" that throws in the ears the each "indie" guitarist band..Οr the dreamy " Lower Your Eyelids the Die with the Sun". What a piece!!Is so splendid the post- rock sound of M83 that is found here, and more spacey from never!

Oι M83 φτιάχτηκαν το 2001 στην Αντίμπ της Γαλλίας από τον Αντονι Γκονζάλες και τον Νικολά Φρομαζό.Όμως το Before The Dawn Heals Us, βρίσκει τον Αντονι Γκονζάλες μόνο στο πιλοτήριο του γκρουπ μετά την αποχώρηση του συνοδοιπόρου του δίχως όμως το αποτέλεσμα να υπολείπεται σε κάτι από τις δύο προηγούμενες δισκογραφικές στάσεις τους, και ιδίως του δυνατού Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts (2003).
Ένα απολύτως ατμοσφαιρικό album με ήχο βασισμένο σε αναλογικά synthesizers,φιλόδοξο,μαγευτικό,μελωδικό!Τα 15 tracks, που συνδυάζουν με θαυμαστή ισορροπία την instrumental διάθεση του δημιουργού τους και τη χρήση φωνητικών, εισάγονται με το Moonchild, ένα ομιχλώδες κομμάτι που ευθύς εξ' αρχής δείχνει την κινηματογραφική αίσθηση που ο Gonzalez θέλει να δώσει στο εγχείρημα του..Ακούστε το Farewell/Goodbye (με τον Ben από τους Cyann & Ben και την Lisa Papineau από τους Big Sir στα φωνητικά) που είναι το μελοδραματικότερο, πλέον μελίρρυτο τραγούδι που ακούσαμε τα τελευταία χρόνια από electronica δίσκο, ένα κομμάτι που οι Air δε νομίζω να γράψουν. Ή το Teen Angst που ρίχνει στα αυτιά κάθε "indie" κιθαριστικό σχήμα..Ή το ονειρικό Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun.Τι κομματάρα!!Είναι τόσο υπέροχος συνολικά ο post rock ήχος των M83 που βρίσκεται εδώ, και πιο φευγάτος και spacey από ποτέ!
