This music is from the 12th and 13th century. Studio der Fruhen Musik was one of the pioneering early music groups -- led by the American Thomas Binkley.Highly recommended, if only for their historic value.

They are classics that have not been bested and they sound as fresh and "up-to-date" as they did when they appeared. They are definitely more adventurous and imaginative than most of the stodgy recordings of this repertoire that appear now. I would like to contact Sterling Jones. I know him and Thomas Binkley very well as we were members of Collegium Musicumat at the U.of Illinois U.S.A.. I since then became lead singer with Musica Reservata, London. (Jantina Noorman). I know Thomas is no longer with us but I have completely lost touch with any of the other members,Can anyone help?? jantinabarker68@gmail.com
