Jack Or Jive - Kagura Live in Kyoto

Artist:
Jack Or Jive
Album: Kagura Live in Kyoto
Year: 1994
Genre:Ambient,New Age

This largely restrained, ethereal performance flows almost like a single work, such is its unity. It seems to this listener that Jack Or Jive have been working up to this stunning work. With depth, drama and atmosphere, and the inclusion of subtle natural sounds, it truly grabs the attention. Chako's vocals are improvised and cover the fullrange of her abilities. Their most experimental album to date.

Philip Glass - The Hours

Artist: Philip Glass
Album: The Hours
Year: 2002
Genre:Piano,Neo-classical,Instrumental

"The Hours" is a compelling drama involving the lives of three women in three cities in three decades.Their stories are interwoven exquisitely, and arch together in a profound, moving fashion. It is the best film of 2002.
Philip Glass is one of the leading composers working in the minimalist idiom. He has scored a number of films, most of them art films (with some exceptions like Candyman). The vast majority of his compositions take patience that most don't have; the subtlety of his music tends to escape one if one isn't focused entirely on the music's flow. The score to The Hours is different. It is still repetitive in its way and it has all the hallmarks of Glass' style, most notably the arpeggiated "melodic" lines and a dark, brooding stone. However, there is more variety in this score than in most of Glass' other music, and this makes it much more easily accesible than, say, Einstein on the Beach. The conciseness of each small vignette makes this album easy to listen to, and the treatment of the piano lines make the music ache with beauty. This album can be described as peaceful, but at the same time, there's an underlying current that keeps you on edge.

I highly recommend this soundtrack as an opening to Glass' work and as an emotional experience. It may take some patience that other forms of classical music don't, but if you can fit yourself inside the repetition it is one of the most rewarding albums you'll ever listen to.

Stephan Micus - Behind Eleven Deserts

Artist: Stephan Micus
Album: Behind Eleven Deserts
Year: 1978
Genre:World,New Age

Stephan Micus
(born January 19, 1953) is a German musician and composer, whose musical style is heavily influenced by his study of traditional instruments and musical techniques from Japan, India, South America, and other countries around the world. In many cases, he plays all of the instruments on his recordings, combining styles from different countries and using the instruments in unprecedented ways in each of his pieces. A lifelong student of culture and society, Micus finds new ways of combining a rich diversity of ethnic instruments that would simply not be possible under other circumstances, creating a cross-cultural music that is like no other. Indian dilruba blends with Arabian nay; Tibetan chimes mix with Bavarian zithers; and Ghanese dondon unites with Japanese shakuhachi to explore, quite possibly the most affirmed idea of World Music. And while most musicians thrive on the interaction of playing with others, Micus' heavily layered pieces are the result of years of painstaking and solitary pursuit. The result is an arc of recordings that, perhaps more so than most, truly reflects a life's calling that embodies more than merely music, realizing the spiritual search that clearly informs his work as well.
Behind Eleven Deserts its third album, recorded into 1978.
The following music tools are used for the record of disk:
Suling - bamboo flute
Bodhran - Irish drum played by the hands
Sarangi - Indian bow intsrument, sound which is very close to the violoncello
Sitar - Indian tool, which usually is played under accompaniment of the drums

G. I. Gurdjieff. In 1980 he recorded for ECM an album of his compositions Sacred Hymns of G. I. Gurdjieff. The pieces have a spare, stark quality imbued with fragility and spirituality. A lovely disc; great performances...Highly recommended for those looking for tranquility and beauty!

Cirque du Soleil - Varekai

Artist: Cirque du Soleil
Album: Varekai
Year: 2002
Genre:Ambient,Experimental

Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world—a world where something else is possible. A world called Varekai.

From the sky falls a solitary young man, and the story of Varekai begins. Parachuted into the shadows of a magical forest, a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastical creatures, this young man sets off on an adventure both absurd and extraordinary. On this day at the edge of time, in this place of all possibilities, begins an inspired incantation to life rediscovered.

The word varekai means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai.

The Pirate Ship Quintet

Artist: The Pirate Ship Quintet
Album: The Pirate Ship Quintet
Year: 2007
Genre: Post - Rock,Experimental, Instrumental

The Pirate Ship Quintet are another young British band that are intent on creating lavish instrumental soundscapes.Three epic post-rock songs done all Yndi Halda style.Excellent post-rock with very interesting inclusion of piano, trumpet and the especially great use of cello. The inclusion of these instruments help them to break away a little bit from the countless other bands in the genre. This is a very professional sounding debut and very enjoyable thanks in part to their ability to inject genuine sounding emotions into the music.Recommended if you like From The Sky, Mt., Blueneck, 65daysofstatic and of course Yndi Halda.

Bonobo - Days To Come

Artist: Bonobo
Album: Days To Come
Year: 2006
Genre: Electronica, Trip - Hop

Days to Come
is the third album of original studio material from British musician Simon Green (aka Bonobo).“Days To Come” has the feeling of a classic all over – a big, brooding, emotional and uplifting record that you can dance to, do the dishes to, or sit and really study.Green has always been expert at welding together music dripping with atmosphere, combining his own musical and technical talents in such a way as to make utterly organic-sounding machine music. This is not just a knob-twiddling producer but a multi-instrumentalist at work, who writes, plays and then manipulates almost every note of music he releases. And “Days To Come” shows a new structural awareness growing from this, a feeling for the song form and the gradual build which raises it way above the work of many of his contemporaries and cries out for him to achieve the kind of mainstream success that has talent has long hinted at.The album was voted Album of the Year in the 2006 Worldwide Awards on Gilles Peterson's BBC Radio 1 show.

iLiKETRAiNS - Elegies To Lessons Learnt

Artist: iLiKETRAiNS
Album: Elegies To Lessons Learnt
Year: 2007
Genre:Post - Rock

iLiKETRAiNS
are a post-rock band from Leeds, England.Their songs are composed of expansive orchestral and guitar-based sounds.First studio album, "Elegies to Lessons Learnt", was recently released through Beggars Banquet on 1 October 2007.

Really, the sheer scope of Elegies To Lessons Learned is unarguably astonishing, almost to the point where singling out tracks seems a tad unfair to the sheer overwhelming immersion it engenders taken in its epic entirety. Nonetheless, it’s a journey dappled with high points: singles Spencer Perceval, which charges recklessly towards the ten-minute mark in an inferno of concentric twangs, and the even better The Deception, which blurs and chimes along in a fashion recalling the old NME description of My Bloody Valentine’s work as “pop songs that had fallen in with the wrong crowd”, may already be familiar, but there’s plenty more to adore. Epiphany, for instance, is a hypnotic wash that comes as a welcome fracture to the intensity that precedes it (in a fashion not dissimilar to Otterley on the Cocteaus’ Treasure, thrillingly enough), while the opening We All Fall Down erupts in on a fearsome quake and continues in a flurry of dark crescendos that wouldn’t have shamed prime Mogwai.

Thematically, too, it’s a particularly bold step, placing itself courageously into the pantheon of concept albums by endeavouring to work as a chronal travelogue of tragedies ranging from Prime Ministerial assassination to the Salem witch trials, and, as you might imagine, it’s remorselessly bleak – hell, death even stalks the tracklisting, and lyrics like “you are a cancer” (Death Of An Idealist) and “the gallows tree, she calls for me by name” (The Voice Of Reason) add heavily to its morbid timbre. David Martin’s vocals, thankfully, are perfectly suited to this, since he’s squarely in the dark tradition that takes in the sombre gravitas of Nick Cave, the macabre confrontation of Paul Vickers and the lugubrious bruises of Paul Banks, and the lachrymose guitar gymnastics are complemented by a fractured bass minimalism and haunted, militaristic drumming that adds up to an experience that registers quite highly on the Godspeed...! scale while enchanting in its own right.

It is, admittedly, not quite the stratospheric experience of their live shows, but their use of film in that capacity has elevated them beyond expectation, and, besides, it’s seldom argued that Orbital or Black Box Recorded albums don’t stand up without the visual accompaniment, and the same can be said here. A work of remarkable beauty, Elegies To Lessons Learned contains far more reasons to be cheerful than it reasonably should, and if you’re looking for post-rock done properly then iLiKETRAiNS are more than on the right lines.

Eluvium - Copia

Artist: Eluvium
Album: Copia
Year: 2007
Genre: Electronica, Instrumental ,Ambient

Eluvium
(aka Matthew Cooper) musically moves off in a dramatic new direction on Copia, his fourth album. Having already eschewed guitars, Cooper now leaves behind the heavily electronic feel of his previous set, Talk Amongst the Trees, plumping instead for an orchestral sound and majestic air that permeate this entire set.Sounding more like a classical record than anything else, this is by no means a background record. Gone are the whirls of Kevin Shields-esque guitar that were prevalent on his previous releases, instead replaced by strings, brass, keyboards and piano. It grabs you with its gorgeous swelling and ebbing strings, stunning piano movements, and warm brass that just adds a whole other element to the album. Cooper is a master of imagination, leaving you the keys to the endless worlds in which Copia resides. Whichever way you see it, Eluvium is going down in history as one of the innovators of contemporary ambience.A magnificent set, awash in textures, atmospheres, moods, and emotion!

GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT - All is Violent, All is Bright

Artist: GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT
Album: All is Violent, All is Bright
Year: 2005
Genre: Post - Rock,Instrumental,Experimental

God is an Astronaut
is a three man army that make "heavenly" instrumental post-rock witch consists of the usual guitar/ bass/ drums sound, but adding to it synth effects to their sound and I mean a lot of synth effects witch is the main attraction in their sound. All Is Violent, All Is Bright is the second studio album by this Irish post-rock band released in 2005.Their songs are very catchy and rather short (only two song pass the 5 minute mark) making their sound accessible and easy to digest for normal mainstream listeners and prog heads without the need of extra patience most bands of the genre require. Their sound is energetic and very melodic with the center of attention being shared with the guitar or the piano. Thanks to the synth effects and lovely piano work they make you feel like you're flying above the clouds and enjoying the view and feeling the breeze, but then all of the beauty stops and the energy in their sound start to show off with bombastic playing by the members of the band will still having that melodic edge and that's when you hit the ground hard, but instead of feeling painful it's really fun and enjoyable and you just want to do it again. Not all of the songs in the album follow the crescendo formula Godspeed uses and that's a good thing. Highlights of the album are "All is Violent, all is Bright" (great and fierce drumming near the end), the beautiful "Forever Lost" and the dynamic "Suicide by Star". The rest of the song follow closely behind this ones. So the album has a nice balance and there aren't bad songs.
This is a very accessible album and have a mainstream feel to it, but don't let that keep you from enjoying them. The drawback of the album is that the magic wears off after repeated listening. The effects won't sound as ear blowing as the first times and that's when the album settles. I don't think that it would be an excellent addition to any prog collection, but it is an excellent addition to any post-rock collection. So if you're into the genre or just starting out, go and get All is Violent, all is Bright. It'll win your heart from the first listen.

Eleni Karaindrou - The Weeping Meadow

Artist: Eleni Karaindrou
Album: The Weeping Meadow
Year: 2003
Genre: Neo-classical, Instrumental

This album is the complete score for the Greek film The Weeping Meadow ('To livadi pou dakrizei') directed by Theo Angelopoulos. The music is by Greek composer Eleni Karaindrou who has previously worked with Angelopoulos on the very successful Ulysses' Gaze, and also Voyage to Cythera, The Beekeper, Landscape in the Mist, The Suspended Step of the Stork, and Eternity and a Day.The Weeping Meadow is a tragedy, the score based around one mournful central theme and two further motifs which are so significantly related to the main theme as to be essentially variations. Karaindrou uses the technique of building the themes upon a repeated, syncopated double-bass melody, a 6-note harp motif that constantly loops in on itself, and a final 3-note harp motif that is also frequently repeated.
The Weeping Meadow is an excellent piece of work, with compelling writing for string orchestra and solo performances by the accordion, violin, cello and the Constantinople Lyra, brilliant and colourful melodies and memorable themes; music sad, tragic and solitary that takes the listener on a magical, silent and slow inner journey. One of the best scores I've ever heard and definitely the best work by Eleni Karaindrou, this is surely a must for all the lovers of serious music. A genuine masterpiece!( Demetris Christodoulides)

SECRET GARDEN - Earthsongs

Artist: SECRET GARDEN
Album: Earthsongs
Year: 2005
Genre: New Age,World,Celtic

The amazing duo Secret Garden consisting of Norwegian keyboardist/composer Rolf Lovland and Irish born violinist Fionnuala Sherry return with their fifth studio album..Earthsongs is a curious title for an album that is unrooted in the firmament and seems far removed from any traditions therein. Instead, the duo make music lost in a gauzy haze of nostalgia and sentimentality. On Earthsongs, they move further from the safely exotic, Celtic-meets-New-Age sound in which they forged their early successes and float down an easy-listening path. With this album, Secret Garden takes a seat in the faux-classical lounge, a room occupied by artists like Percy Faith, Bert Kaempfert, 101 Strings, and other forgotten meisters of orchestral pop who were washed aside by the breaking waves of rock in the early '60s.
~John Diliberto.
Earthsongs is a refreshing magical listen with mesmerizing melodies that will take the listener to a far away place!!

Yndi Halda - Enjoy Eternal Bliss

Artist:Yndi Halda
Album: Enjoy Eternal Bliss
Year: 2006
Genre: Post - Rock, Experimental, Instrumental

Yndi Halda
are a post rock band from Canterbury, United Kingdom. 'Yndi Halda' is an Icelandic phrase that means 'enjoy eternal bliss'; it comes from Odin's Raven Magic, an ancient Icelandic poem, also the name of their "self-titled" debut. The band's music is characterized by expansive, cinematic pieces that have seen the group compared to modern classical and post rock - however, Yndi Halda's work is usually considered more thematically optimistic or hopeful, and more song-based than artists of those genres. In their own words: "We play in a barn on the top of a hill and open the double doors to see the sun set sun rise. We frolic with the farm dogs who live in the barn." With one beautiful soundscape after another, Yndi Halda create something bigger than an emotional rollercoaster, it's more like a full-on mountain assualt through thick blizzards and incredible sunshine.

Clogs - Lantern

Artist:Clogs
Album: Lantern
Year: 2006
Genre: Neo-classical,Instrumental,
Experimental,Post - Rock, Chamber

Lantern, the fourth studio album from Australian-American post-minimalist chamber quartet Clogs, is a mellifluence of atmospheric, improvisationally-spirited classical chamber music with some of the vital immediacy of rock.Clogs’ music hums and floats through evocative moods of tranquility and melancholy, and occasionally, transcendence.Their music is exquisite; it rocks, saws and sings its way into your heart.Sensuous, subtle but emotionally overwhelming dreamscapes, whose luminous beauty makes pigeonholing nigh on impossible. Lantern is the most fully realized version of Clogs' aesthetic, seamlessly mixing their musical reference points-- classical, European folk, post-rock-- into a unique sound.Exceptionally beautiful and assured!!

Wood and Wires

Artist:Wood and Wires
Album: Wood and Wires
Year: 2006
Genre: Post-Rock, Instrumental, Experimental

Wisconsin based Wood and Wires are yet another post rock band who wear their influences on their sleeves. It would be ridiculous, however, to condemn this or any other group for putting an admirable attempt into creating an album full of Mono-esque soundscapes and passages from the Explosions In The Sky school of build-ups. As evident from their song titles, the cosmos also seem to be a major influence into what this band has attempted to accomplish. If aural beauty is a goal of this style of post rock, Wood and Wires have achieved at least some level of success, though not quite worthy of a clear night in an Alaskan winter.

Though actual highlights are few and far between, the general sound and feel of the music is in no way mediocre, and is actually quite peaceful; highlighted greatly on the second track, "Canes Venatici". "Archernar", the third and weakest track on the album, is of note if only to point out the very beginning of its overlong and repetitive existence, in which radio and/or television signals are jumbled together in a nod to the cosmos itself, which receives an endless amount of said signals on a daily basis from our small and insignificant planet. I only wish this interesting add-on had been part of the best and most fitting song on the album, "Vega". This track is nothing more than a piano piece, yet it is very powerful on it's own; much more than anything else on the album. It exists quietly and beautifully on it's own terms, and greatly accentuates what could be a small gesture to the grand beauty of the fifth brightest start in our sky. In a bit of disappointment, this superb song gives way to a far less impressive closing track, which features a near-playful melody that seems somewhat out of place.
On the whole, with only their first effort, Wood and Wires show at least a moderate amount of potential, which is certainly enough for me to recommend to anyone that enjoys gentle and reflective music. Though not entirely convincing or overly impressive, the few excellent passages offered in this album have more than done their job in keeping my interest as I look forward to what this band can come up with next. For an album seemingly dedicated to the beauty of the cosmos, I'd say the band have taken their first important steps in creating their own universe.(by SinsOfArcadia)

Piano Magic - Low birth weight

Artist: Piano Magic
Album: Low birth weight
Year: 1999
Genre:
Alternative,Experimental,Post-ambient

Piano Magic
is musical collective formed in the summer of 1996 by Glen Johnson, Dominic Chennell, and Dick Rance in London, England. Their sound has been described as ambient pop, post-rock, indietronica, as well as other things.Mysticism in dark atmosphere, clean sentiments with simple instruments, various experimentations and canned sounds or natural or curious they are with few words the veil that covers the music of Piano Magic. Could somebody claim that it is form new-romantic in the footprints of This Mortal Coil and Cocteau Twins and would have unfair. Also you you can include them in the frames of continuously extending post scene. Here it is for their third work .A lot of called, known "ethereal phonetically", the intelligent guitars and the "curious" sounds will compose the absolutely overlooked masterpiece of 90s. Cult element the adaptation of Waking Up of Disco Inferno while their own ten compositions in the majority of cases exceed the usual levels and touch upon the limits of a masterpiece."Sepia tones in the sound, nigrescent-sound virtu, eerie aesthetics, soundtrack of lost pursuits.."... this is the musical value of Piano Magic.

Ravi Shankar, the legendary sitarist and composer is India's most esteemed musical Ambassador and a singular phenomenon in the classical music worlds of East and West. As a performer, composer, teacher and writer, he has done more for Indian music than any other musician. He is well known for his pioneering work in bringing Indian music to the West. This however, he did only after long years of dedicated study under his illustrious guru Baba Allaudin Khan and after making a name for himself in India.

Yume Bitsu - Giant Surface Music Falling to Earth Like Jewels From the Sky

Portland-based space-drone quartet Yume Bitsu play ambient rock music.
Yume Bitsu's spacious, airy epics fall around you in sheets, almost like a heavy rain of musical colors: cool, damp, haunting synth curtains fold around eerie, reverb-drenched guitar lines while dense, psychedelic percussive hailstones fall all about. The sound suggests the ambient psychedelia of '70s Ash Ra Tempel or Tangerine Dream as well as the synth-happy drone of My Bloody Valentine. Yume Bitsu's compositions are primarily instrumental, though ethereal, melodious vocals enter the mix occasionally.

Retrouvailles is flooded from classic French sounds, from the chanson and waltz, up to the music of outdoor musics of Monmarte and minimalism pianists of the beginning of 20th century, exceptional mix from the cinematographic subjects which made so much known Yann Tiersen. Emotive, melodic..

From The Sky - Like Crystal In A World Of Glass

Artist: From The Sky
Album: Like Crystal In A World Of Glass
Year: 2007
Genre: Post-Rock, Instrumental, Experimental, Indie
Hailing from London, England, the four-piece instrumental group known as From the Sky hit the scene with a running start in December of last year. Their first full album, Like Crystal in a World of Glass, although clocking in at just over 30 minutes, is a captivating listening experience packed with energy and emotion. Following closely in the vein of traditional post-rock acts such as Explosions in the Sky, the band uses all of the classic elements of the genre, skillfully delivering tranquil atmospheres, intense climaxes, and soothing melodies that grace each of the album’s five tracks. This album serves as one of the freshest examples of what instrumental rock music should really be like—soothing, uplifting, and above all, thought-provoking.

Βρετανοί οι From The Sky και εδώ μας παρασέρνουν σε ένα θαυμάσιο κιθαριστικό ταξίδι άλλοτε μελαγχολικό και άλλοτε αισιόδοξο μα πάντα έντονα συναισθηματικό!Μust have!!

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire

Artist: Ludovico Einaudi
Album: Divenire
Year: 2007
Genre: Piano, Neo-Classical

The music of Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi has been described as minimalistic, classic, modern, ambient, meditative and deep emotive. A bonny, welcome sound in a convulsive world. His incredibly beautiful music has maintained him among the most commercial and more coveted artists of Europe.Check it!

George Winston - Forest

Artist: George Winston
Album: Forest
Year: 1996
Genre: New Age, piano

George Winston is known as one of the great popularizers of minimalist, acoustic solo piano music.Forest is the seventh album..this gold album was George's first Grammy award winner.Having passes the phase "Yanni", I believe that this album is the next stage for somebody that wants to listen also the most melodic side of piano. Soft playing, clean harmonies, elegant melodies, romantic pictures...

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds + Kylie Minogue - Where The Wild Roses Grow

For some reason the song Where the Wild Roses Grow has a magic effect in me. Never was a big fun of Kylie Minogue but here in this disk her voice is magical ! I'm sure that has to do with the creative talent of Nick Cave and the beautiful songs of this disk. When love meeting with the talent!...

Για κάποιο λόγο το Where the Wild Roses Grow έχει μια μαγική επίδραση σε μένα.Ποτέ δεν ήμουν big fun της Kylie Minogue μα εδώ σ' αυτό το δίσκο η

Fairuz - Andaloussiyat

In the summer of 1957, she faced an audience in the open for the first time, standing at the base of one of the six columns that comprise the temple of Jupiter in Baalbeck. It was the largest audience that had ever gathered at the Roman temple. Under a crescent moon, Fairuz, flooded with blue light, began to sing in a calm, confident voice, Lubnan Ya Akhdar Hilo (O Green, Beautiful Lebanon). People were spellbound; it was a magical moment. Clogs - Thom's Night out

Artist:Clogs
Album:Thom's Night out
Year: 2001
Genre:Instrumental, Experimental

Clogs are four musicians from the U.S. and Australia who compose and improvise using sounds, textures and influences from across the musical spectrum. From the immediacy of folk music, through twisted Americana to the complexity of modernism, their sound marks a new and beautifully strange stage in the evolution of 21st century acoustic-electronic music.
Clogs' music is quite pretty, and most of the time gentle in tone, yet nothing about their compositions is simple, either.
A track like "Sadness and Obsession" has an especially avant-garde feeling to it, without odd sounds and textures quickly leaping in and out of the sound.

Gardenbox - Last Resort

Artist: Gardenbox
Album: Last Resort
Year: 2005
Genre: Post - Rock, Instrumental, Electronica

This is GARDENBOX fourth cd and my first meeting with them. The label info would file their sound under post rock and electronica, and I can agree with that to a certain level. A song like „Global Pessimism“ is obviously influenced from early ‚80‘s synth-pop, and one of two tracks here with additional vocals . But the band presents also a more disturbed side, and in their best moments, a glimpse of the genius of Throbbing Gristle or Non comes through their material as in „How Did We Get Here?“. But GARDENBOX is always a bit cleaner and less irritating or controversial as the aforementioned bands. They also use more distorted guitars as in „Sweet Oblivion“ for example, or push their sound more in a psychedelic direction. For my taste, „Last Resort“ owns some hypnotic and meditative moments, but I can’t really get into it. Maybe it’s the synthetic production or this post-rock feel...... I’m not sure. If they had included more songs like the last one „Away“, that is very melancholic and surprises with acoustic guitars.
Black Emperor και το μινιμαλιστικό "I Can't" σε συνδυασμό με τη μελωδικότητα του "Pass Over" να αποτελούν ένα εκπληκτικό κολάζ ετερόκλητων ήχων.Ενδιαφέρουσα είναι η επιλογή του Αλκίνοου Ιωαννίδη ως guest σε δυο track ("How Did We Get Here", "Away").Μάλιστα στο πρώτο από τα δύο κομμάτια που συμμετέχει δεν τραγουδάει αλλά παίζει τσέλο και φλογέρα.Αναμφισβήτητα πρόκειται για ένα από τα πιο όμορφα άλμπουμ του 2006 ανεξαρτήτως προελεύσεως, εθνικότητας και μουσικού ύφους.Ένας πραγματικά αριστουργηματικός δίσκος…

French Teen Idol - Enlightened False Consciousness

Artist: French Teen Idol
Album: Enlightened False Consciousness
Year: 2007
Genre: Post-Rock, Instrumental, Experimental, Ambient

"Enlightened False Consciousness" is French Teen Idol's second release, following the 2005 self-titled debut album.
Melancholic piano patterns, dreamy atmospheres, vocal samples and striking instrumental crescendos, some of the ingredients of French Teen Idol's debut album, are sill there, enriched by the continuous search for new musical solutions, including a more classical "song-structure" approach in some tracks.
